This 4 days package provides you a choice of Low's Peak Circuit or Walk The Torq plus Rappelling or Sport Climbing with 3 nights stay at Pendant Hut. 3 nights stay provides you a backup day in case of bad weather on the mountain which prevents you from summitting the mountain's highest peak.
 
BASIC-SERVICE STANDARD ITINERARY
 
DAY 1 meal D  bed Pendant Hut
0800hrs: Arrive at Kinabalu Park HQ (it takes approximately 2hrs drive journey from Kota Kinabalu city to the Park HQ). Upon arrival, compulsory pre-check in at Mountain Torq's office and present your passport/Malaysian ID card for verification purposes. Next, make your way to Sabah Parks' operation office to make the necessary arrangements/payment for the climb permit, insurance and mountain guide. Self-arrange your own transport to Timpohon Gate. Start your trekking journey for about 4-5hrs to reach Panalaban.
1500hrs: Check into Pendant Hut (3,289m) and settle in.
1530hrs: Attend the mandatory Via Ferrata familiarization in Pendant Hut and meet your Mountain Torq trainer.
1800hrs: Dinner will be provided at Laban Rata Restaurant.
2000hrs: Lights out
 
DAY 2 meal B / L / D  bed Pendant Hut
0600hrs: Wake up and enjoy morning breakfast while watching the sunrise.
0700hrs: Introduction to Rappelling or Sport Climbing with Mountain Torq trainer.
1200hrs: Head to Laban Rata Restaurant for a well-earned lunch.
Afternoon: Acclimatize, recharge and prepare for a hectic day 3.
1800hrs: Dinner will be provided at Laban Rata Restaurant.
2000hrs: Lights out.
 
DAY 3 meal S / B / D  bed Pendant Hut
0130hrs: Wake up and early morning breakfast/supper will be provided.
0230hrs: Start hiking up to explore the summit, Low's Peak (4,095.2m) and expected to reach the summit in time of sunrise.
0600hrs: Descend from Low's Peak.
0630hrs: Meet your Mountain Torq trainer at the agreed meeting point for your chosen Via Ferrata experience.
1100hrs: Return to Pendant Hut for wash up and late breakfast.
1200hrs: Head to Laban Rata Restaurant for a well-earned lunch.
Afternoon: Recuperate from the 11+hrs day, have a well-deserved nap, sit in the sun (weather permitting) and have a cup of the famous Sabah Tea at the base of Pendant Hut while watching the therapeutic mountain scenery.
1800hrs: Dinner will be provided at Laban Rata Restaurant.
2000hrs: Lights out.
 
DAY 4 meal B
(backup day for another summit attempt only if day 3 was not successful)
0700hrs: Wake up and have breakfast.
0830hrs: Check out of Pendant Hut and descend to Timpohon Gate.
1600hrs-1700hrs: Estimated time of arrival at Timpohon Gate. Self-arrange your own transport back to Kinabalu Park HQ to collect your successful climb and Via Ferrata certificate or buy some souvenirs.

Meals: D - Dinner at Laban Rata Restaurant (3x on day 1, 2 & 3), S - Supper at Pendant Hut (1x on day 3) and B - simple American breakfast at Pendant Hut (2x on day 2 & 4).
Inclusions: 3 nights stay at Pendant Hut - based on a dormitory bunk bed (day 1, 2 & 3), Via Ferrata activity - Low's Peak Circuit, Rappelling or Sport Climbing, Via Ferrata full equipment, Mountain Torq trainer and Via Ferrata certificate for successful attempt only.
Exclusions: Packed lunch (day 1), late lunch (day 2), all transportation services, all Sabah Parks tariffs & fees; conservation/entrance fee, climbing permit, insurance, mountain guide service and summit achievement certificate, extra drinks & meals, porter fee and any other items not listed in the inclusions list.

If you have a history of suffering from the following ailments, it is highly recommended that you should refrain from climbing: Hypertension, Diabetes, Palpitation, Arthritis, Heart Disease, Severe Anemia, Peptic Ulcers, Epileptic Fits, Obesity (overweight), Chronic Asthma, Muscular Cramps, Hepatitis (Jaundice); or any other disease which may hamper the climber.
